About Us

Monroe Thomas Clewis is an Estate Planning and Elder Law attorney, and a former Veterans Administration Senior Adjudicator. He received his B.A. in English Literature from UC Berkeley in 1974, and he earned a Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School in 1984. During law school he earned an Award for Legal Writing and Research. Mr. Clewis is a member of MENSA, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform, the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Trusts and Estates Section), and serves as a volunteer in the pro bono Conservatorship Clinic at Los Angeles Superior Court.
